Palácio Guanabara

A construction of the nineteenth century, was the residence of Princess Isabel. After the proclamation of the Republic of Brazil was named Guanabara Palace and became a symbol of neoclassical and eclectic. It was seat of the Prefecture of Rio, when Rio de Janeiro was the capital. Today is the seat of the government of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

La costruzione del diciannovesimo secolo, è stata la residenza della principessa Isabel. Dopo la proclamazione della Repubblica è stata nominata Palazzo Guanabara e diventa un simbolo del neoclassico ed eclettico. E'ra la sede dello della Prefettura di Rio, quando è stata la capitale. Oggi è la sede sede del governo dello Stato di Rio de Janeiro.
