Aterro do Flamengo

1,200,000 meter greened &area on the seafront, the Aterro do Flamengo is the result of one of the most beautiful and important projects of landscape designed by the ;artist Roberto Burle Marx.
From Santos Dumont to the Insenatura of Botafogo, the Park offers the most varied attractions. There are sports fields, bicycle paths, jogging tracks and field for model aircraft flying Infante D. Henrique direction to South-Central Zone is closed to traffic on sundays and holidays from 7am to 18 hours, further expanding the area and its movement for the entertainment of the park.

Con i suoi 1.200.000 mq di area verde sul lungomare, l’Aterro do Flamengo è il risultato di uno dei più belli e importanti progetti paesaggistici dell’ artista Roberto Burle Marx. Dall’Aeroporto Santos Dumont all’Insenatura di Botafogo, il Parco offre le più diverse attrattive. Ci sono campi sportivi, piste ciclabili, piste da jogging e campo per l’aeromodellismo. La corsia dell’Av. Infante D. Henrique, direzione Zona Sud-Centro è chiusa al trafico tutte le domeniche e giorni festivi, dalle ore 7 alle ore 18, ampliando ulteriormente l’area di circolazione e l’area per lo svago del Parco.
